Mental Health First Aid Certification & Essentials
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses provide knowledge, skills, and perspectives for participants to recognize changes in mental health, respond supportively, and apply practical actions for declining mental health and crisis situations. MHFA helps participants build confidence, reduce stigma, and enhance their own mental wellbeing.
- Increase awareness of mental health concepts, disorders, and resources.
- Improve confidence to provide help and seek support.
- Explore non judgmental communication techniques.
- Decrease mental health-related stigma.
MHFA is offered as both a two-day (certification) or a one-day (essentials) workshop.
MHFA Certification: An in-depth, two-day course. Upon completion and assessment, provides participants with a nationally recognized MHFA Certification (Mental Health Commission of Canada – 3 years)
MHFA Essentials: A streamlined one-day course, focused on core knowledge and practical skills.
Private classes, out of town training and customized workshops for your organization can be arranged upon request.
Times: 9:00AM to 4:00PM (1 or 2 days)

Cost: MHFA Certification $250 plus GST
MHFA Essentials $200 plus GST
