DART for Centralized Dispatch WAV Drivers

Since 2016, DART: Accessibility Transportation Training is required to maintain a valid taxicab license in the city of Winnipeg. With the introduction of the WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) centralized dispatch ILRC continues the trend of providing quality training to ensure that all participating drivers have the knowledge necessary for safe transportation of passengers requiring an accessible vehicle.

TO RECEIVE YOUR CERTIFICATION:

  1. Select the appropriate course and time below
  2. Ensure that you have received your confirmation of your selected time slot
  3. Attend your class
  4. After completion of your class a digital certificate will be sent to you via e-mail

COVID-19: For your safety social distancing and sanitization procedures will be in place for all in-person assessments. Please follow the latest Manitoba Health guidelines and do not attend training if you are experiencing any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus.

*Drivers should only register for the WAV program once their application has been accepted by the City of Winnipeg*
