AnnouncementsThe second annual ILA (Independent Living Attendant) appreciation event was held on August 1st, 2024. After the event a raffle was held, awarding prizes of $50 gift cards as well as a grand prize of an Apple Watch. Congratulations to the following ILAs who won a prize. 4 CORNERS: ILRC UNVEILS PORTAGE & MAIN ACCESSIBILITY REPORT
ILRC is pleased to present 4 Corners; a community based report addressing the distinct physical, navigational and institutional barriers experienced at the Portage & Main intersection and underground concourse.
Beginning March 7 (2024) conversation will begin at City Hall to discuss the future of the intersection. Whether it is at last opened to street level pedestrian crossing or remains closed, it cannot stay the same!
